What you see on TV and in the movies bears little to no resemblance to what really happens during a disaster. Avery Horton of Southwestern Oregon Preppers will present the topic Preparedness Reality at the November 19 meeting of SWOCC & Beyond. Attendees will learn about disasters, how to prepare, what one needs to have, and what to avoid. Myths about disasters will be dispelled. Time is allotted for questions and answers during this presentation.
