About this event

Sarah Hagen is an accomplished, passionate pianist with awards such as “Ontario Contact’s” 2017 Musician of the Year and “The Guardian’s” Best Classical Performance of 2014. This one-woman, sit-down comedy project is critically-acclaimed, charting the tale of a touring classical musician who remains optimistic amidst challenging and ridiculous situations. The performance includes witty comic relief set to stunning classical piano compositions.

Tickets are available at Del Norte Office Supply in Crescent City, and Wright's Custom Framing in Brookings. General: $20, Senior: $18, Students: $15. They will also be available at the door; the box office opens at 6:15pm and doors to the auditorium open at 6:30pm. On the night of the performance, cards will be accepted for ticket, raffle, and merchandise purchases. Seating is on a first come, first-served basis and latecomers will be admitted between numbers.

THERE ARE NO REFUNDS. If you cannot make the performance after purchasing tickets, we recommend you donate them as "Courtesy Seats" through DNACA. These are seats for students and others who would normally be unable to see the concert due to financial limitations.

DNACA is committed to providing live performances for audiences of all ages; if you are not certain if the event is suitable for your child, please don’t hesitate to contact us. Out of respect for the artists and other audience members, we must ask that all children attending our performances be seated next to their adult chaperone. Adult guidance is expected.

DNACA is committed to providing accessible programming for all. Crescent Elk Auditorium is an accessible building. Their north parking lot on 994 G St has a wheelchair ramp and wheelchair-accessible seating is available in the auditorium. If you have any other special needs, please contact DNACA at least two weeks in advance of the performance date.

DNACA is funded, in part, by the California Arts Council, a state agency. Learn more at arts.ca.gov. We are also funded, in part, by the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency. We would be unable to bring such talent to our community without the generous help of our underwriters: Patty Brunsing, Lisé Hamilton, Bill & Kathy Maffett, Michael & Jennifer Schmidt, Nick & Lisa Rail Music Fund, Caldwell Clan Fund, Lucky 7 Casino, Tolowa Dee-Ni Nation, Bob & Diane Weir, and Moore's Heating. Our in-kind supporters are Bicoastal Media and Del Norte Office Supply.
