What is this?
Formed in 2010, Beat Frequency was birthed from the passions Natasha Neuschwander and Shawn Lewis both hold for life, art, songwriting, recording and rhythmic expression. Their club-banging, hook-driven pop and R&B songs and performances have been inspiring fans across the US and beyond. They've taken the stage over 1000 times in pursuit of their dreams; most recently opening up for K.C. and the Sunshine Band following their win at Clark County 4ths Battle of the Bands sponsored by Ilani Resort and Casino.
They were the only duo included on Team Xtina for NBC’s The Voice Season 3 and were praised by both Adam Levine and Cee-Lo Green as ‘The best duo we’ve had on the show so far’. Prior to that they garnered ‘yeses’ from Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger for X-Factor U.S. Season 1.
Following their Hollywood experiences they have returned to their home state of Washington with a renewed passion to write, record and perform. Watch for their acoustic duo and full band performances all over the Pacific Northwest as they support their album ‘Electrify’. Beat Frequency’s upcoming release, ‘Forget About It’ will display even more of their musical roots in R&B, pop and funk.
