RETURN OF THE COON TIE!

Following more than a year of musical anticipation, the Coon Tie finally returns to the Khun Thai! How we’ve all missed the fabulous food, collective conviviality and strains of finger-picking folk-style refrains. I cannot describe how thrilled I am to be stepping once again onto my favorite stage. Please step right in alongside me and let’s all feast while we make all those fond memories come alive again!

Besides wolfing a deliciously eggy-noodly Pad Woon Sen, I will be playing and singing some songs by such artistes as Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney, John Prine, Paul Simon, Little Feat, Willie Nelson, Don Williams, Nilsson, Donovan, Peter, Paul & Mary, Gordon Lightfoot, Merle Haggard, Buffy Sainte-Marie, Thin Lizzy and many more.

Got a favorite artist? Ask me a question about any music luminaries from the 50's to the 90's. I'm likely to have met most musicians, more likely to have a story and might even know a song that you know - but chances are very good that I'll have met your favorite players and will have something to say about whomever that may be.

I'll do my utmost to make it a fine time for you this evening, Saturday, August 30th, 6 - 8pm at the Khun Thai Restaurant Lounge and bar, 925 Chetco Ave, Brookings (541-412-0555). Music, along with incredible edibles that will utterly delight you, accompanied by excellent on-tap beers and wine!
