SWOCC is offering more than $300,000 in direct financial support to students pursuing career and technical training programs for the 2022-23 academic year. The intent is to help local students develop necessary skills for the workforce.
Starting this fall, qualifying students enrolled in various career pathway programs at Southwestern can receive up to $6,000 toward their education. Eligible programs specifically for students attending Southwestern’s Curry Campus in Brookings, OR, include medical assisting, pharmacy technician, welding and more.
This is your chance to meet directly with the grant coordinator and see if you might qualify. Philip Metz will be at the Curry Campus in room 231 from 10:30 - 2:30 on August 11.
