Join us for this free scenic hands-on special event. Participants will be greeted with a hard hat, set of loppers, and local wild mushroom recipes before embarking on an educational hike from House Rock Viewpoint in the Samuel Boardman Scenic Corridor. Trailkeepers of Oregon South Coast Coordinator will lead participants in light trail brushing interspersed with fungi identification from Wild Rivers Mushroom Club legend, Kathleen Dickson.
Come broaden your knowledge of trail maintenance and mushroom identification in the field. Stretch your legs, enjoy some sea breeze, and help us promote stewardship in our beautiful South Coast communities.
