Join us for a special nighttime viewing of the glow-in-the-dark display of paintings by John Harold Scott on Thursday, December 8th from 5:30pm-7pm. Paintings by John Harold Scott will be on display in the second floor gallery at Curry Public Library December 5th – February 28th.
Artist Statement by John Harold Scott:
Two and half years ago painting changed my life. I literally jumped in head first and still love, love, love, the adventure of seeing the end results. I love lots of color, the effects from black lights, and creating glow in the dark paintings. I have been trying to learn how to paint from what I see, yet, I prefer to paint from my mind’s memories best. I feel and see three different paintings as I paint: one regular, one black light, and one glow in the dark- the one I cannot wait to see. I hope you enjoy my work.

The paintings in this display are available by donation with their frames after their 3-month stay at the library.
