Let's get ready for a great Little League season! Join us on Sunday February 26th for a hands on coaching clinic lead by Mike Wills. Bring your cleats and a glove as we will be practicing drills to show our teams later on, playing games, and learning techniques to improve our coaching skills.
This clinic is mandatory for Gold Beach Little League coaches. We would like to extend this invitation to Brookings and Del Norte Little Leagues as well if you would like to join us. All coaches, assistant coaches, and parent volunteers are welcome to attend! Please RSVP as going so we know how many to expect.
We will be providing an early BBQ dinner after the clinic at 3:30pm.
Mike Wills started coaching at the age of 16. By 23 he was coaching high school varsity level baseball. During this time he had the fortune of meeting Rod Carew and went on to work for his hitting clinic. Afterwards he opened his own baseball/softball school hosting lessons and camps in Northern California. He has hosted over 50 coaches clinics throughout the course of his career and we are thankful to have him here in Gold Beach to help us get this season started!
